GB Skip Hire | Waste Management | Rebranding

GB Skip Hire company servicing the East London area since the 1970s, has transformed into GB Waste Management - a move that focuses the business on its most successful services, and take the company forward through the growth expected in the next few years.

The 6 month brand roll-out saw the rebrand across a fleet of over 10 vehicles including Grab Lorries, Skip Lorries, Signage for head offices and recycling centres, as well as skips, brochures, uniforms, new website at gbskips.com and social-media sites.

As well as looking great, the rebrand heralds a change across the industry. In the light of increasing legislation from government and growing expectations of professionalism from both home owners and businesses – waste management companies can no longer afford to take a back seat on environmental and sustainable issues.

Jemma Baker, Marketeer and Branding Consultant. "GB Skips had acquired several strong businesses and brands over the years, and it was time to bring them together under a single strong identity. As the industry moves forward, towards the values of sustainability and transformation of our urban environments. GB Skips show that waste management companies play a crucial role in leading, educating consumers and providing a high level of customer service. People know that when they've hired a GB Skip they've made a commitment to the cleanest, sustainable, most professional waste management - and it shows!"

Ross Williams, Freelance Graphic Designer (rosswilliams.co) led the visual development of the identity. "Our aim from the outset was to build a fresh, future-proof design that not only builds on GB Skips heritage, but works across multiple environments and applications. the final brand is distinctive and modern, instantly recognisable, communicating their core business and environmental ethics, through bold use of colour and graphic devices"

Patrick Huckle, joint Owner - "We're extremely proud of the clean, professional service we provide to homes and businesses. The attention to detail in the new brand really shows this. Having a fleet of instantly recognisable vehicles, with clear messaging. The rebranding process helped us really re-focus our business on providing the best service in the waste management, and grow the business into a true national brand."

Jamie Dunham, Driver - "The new vehicles look great - you can really see us coming! And when we're onsite, customers know they're in safe hands, and their waste will be handled properly at the other end."
