During 2018 GB Skip Hire undertook extensive redevelopment of the Hainault Skip Hire Depot and Waste Transfer Station to increase capacity and improve the levels of service and successful recycling of waste.

 

WASTE TRANSFER STATION

Since opening, GB Skip Hires new Waste Management facility has achieved 95% of all waste being recycled, keeping the waste going to landfill at a minimum, ensuring a greener and more sustainable future for London and Essex. All waste that passes through the Hainault center is sorted and processed by both automated mechanical methods and by GB Skip Hires team of skilled waste operatives. Our operatives are trained and credited under the WAMITAB (Waste Industry Training and Advisory Board) Certificate of Technical Competence.

 

RECYCLING AND WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES

Once waste is sorted it is prepared for its final destination. For example, rubble and ground-core from building projects is delivered to local companies for re-use to the commercial building trade as aggregates, top-soil. Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) Quality Protocol ensuring efficient re-use of the materials. By reclaiming aggregates GB Skip Hire helps to preserve valuable mineral resources, reduces waste. By keeping local, reduces the carbon footprint of our services making for a greener London today and in the future.

While our thorough recycling and sorting processes ensures the majority of waste materials go back into the, Not all waste materials can be re-used or recycled and we use local land-fill site in Essex. Using local land-fill helps to responsibly manage the disposal of non-recyclable waste.

The Weighbridge at our fully refurbished Hainault Depot is suitable for most types of commercial and private vehicles, giving accurate and reliable measurements. All our Skip Hire Services are run through the weighbridge and these can be made available for commercial and private needs should you require them.
