Residents and businesses can not apply for permits themselves, so GB Skips will secure individual permits for each of the skips we hire out. Our range of skips have been designed to meet the safety standards and legal compliance set out by the Borough. The Borough expects 24-hour notice, however the GB Skip Hire team are able to negotiate with the Environment and Enforcement Service on your behalf should a shorter notice be required. Permits last for up to 14 days, and the permit will need to be renewed if required for a longer period.
